CARE PACKS
Care Packs are provided to area law enforcement when responding to a domestic violence call. Once the scene is secure, items within each CarePack are given to victims and any children in the home.
A small book of encouragement is given to each victim and every child receives a small stuffed animal with a note of encouragement. Contact information for Hope Restored is clearly marked on every item.

Court PACKS
Court Packs are provided to the Victims Assistance Division of the Huron County Prosecutor's office for domestic violence victims. When coming to court, these items are given to domestic violence victims by an advocate.
Each Court Pack includes a notebook & pen with contact information for Hope Restored.
Funding for a portion of the CarePacks & CourtPacks came from a grant from HCCF.

Love Norwalk
Hope Restored participates in Love Norwalk, an outreach event that happens on the second Saturday of August every year. The effort is spearheaded by local churches and in partnership with like-minded nonprofit organizations. This event offers free back-to-school resources for families and children in the community.
Hope Restored has a booth and offers an impactful message of hope about emotion wellness and abuse prevention to children and their families. The message is presented through fun interactive activities that are solidified through experiential learning. Booth visitors are typically provided a free back-to-school resource.

The HOPE Gathering - Huron County Courthouse
The Hope Gathering is an event sponsored by Hope Restored.
October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. On the first Saturday of October every year, we gather on the Huron County Courthouse steps:
- To bring awareness to the issue of family violence & abuse.
- To acknowledge that it happens in our rural community.
- To remember those who have lost their lives because of domestic violence.
- To understand there are resources within the county that can help victims.
- To learn more about how you can get involved.
Attendees are encouraged to wear purple and take a stand against abuse & family violence because it affects all of us.
